The Third Generation Education: Experience in Europe

Іnterdependence of social development and realization of intellectual potential, creative abilities of the individual governing changes in the institution of education, above all, requires training people to lifelong learning, the development of a new culture of people's activities for venerable age, that can be implemented in a complex combination of formal and informal education. The problem of nonformal education of the third age in Ukraine requires consideration in the coordinates of intercultural dialogue in European society, and that was the purpose of this paper.

Timely information for the development phase of the international community, particularly European, is promoting intercultural dialogue spaces of everyday life with respect for fundamental rights and freedoms, among them — the rights of the elderly to social and cultural activities.

High public school in Kirovohrad Institute of Human Development has been operating for five years. Training takes place on several fronts, the main interest is to expand the prerogatives of students, their adaptation to the new time, a priority for future development consider establishing communication must replay trainees and students, because such cooperation helps to realize the principle of communication and continuity of generations.

In this context it is appropriate to continue the development of information and educational system for elderly people to facilitate socio-economic development of Ukraine and understanding between generations. This system is based on the philosophy of education of elderly in the context of intercultural dialogue and to have the financial support of state and public structures. Promising area of research is to further the study and exchange of experiences with other countries to organize training older people in the process of intercultural activities. It is also necessary to find new moral and civic background — by consolidating society in Ukraine, which is the constant sociocultural protection of the elderly.
