Motor Devices in Motor Activity of People with Musculoskeletal System Disorders

S. I. Lazurenko

Key position of theory of sets claims that conscious psychical processes are preceded by a state which cannot be considered solely physiological. Researches of motor set components as a state of absolute readiness to certain activity and basic mechanisms of realization of these sets in practice can be considered quite important.

Purpose of work is to study the basic constituents and mechanisms of motor sets under conditions of motor activity.

Experimental researches, devoted to the study of motor disorders after peripheral traumas, revealed what a considerable role central components play. The presentation of motor disorder after limb damage is determined not only by the anatomic defect of musculoskeletal system, but also by the change of sensory signals, which come from the affected organ and corresponding nerve centers, which change their activity.

Works of O. M. Leontiev and his colleagues discovered that after peripheral arm injuries there appeared motor disorders which were considered specific for central damages, e.g. hypotaxia, selective limitations of motions with certain characteristic and, finally, changes of motor sets. These examples are justified by D. M. Uznadze’s assumption that set is a condition of the whole personality, not just of separate organs.

Motion is already performed not portionwise, but at one go, in accordance with internal readiness of the subject, which has changed. The injured arm is deprived of specific readiness, that inherent to healthy one.

Thus, the set displays itself in the change of tonic functions of the injured arm, in the change of readiness of relevant mechanisms to perceive central impulse.

Thus, recovery of motor function includes the change of specific central general components, in particular sets to use the injured arm. They determine to what extent the injured organ can work. Therefore rehabilitation work after peripheral traumas cannot be limited to only local activities.

Keywords: motor installations, engine activity, the mechanisms of the regulation of the motions of people with the flaws of supporting motor apparatus.
